Why Can't We Charge Up Human Cells With Energy Bypassing the Organic Process?


Back in 2000 there were some NASA scientists screwing around with lasers and they build a tiny little model aircraft out of balsa wood and Cellophane with receptors to allow for power absorption using a small laser. Once the laser powered up the batteries of the model airplane it could keep flying until it ran out of juice then of course you could decide if you really wanted to re-charge it again the same way.
Basically, the little model could in essence or in theory fly around forever, never landing to recharge. Interesting yes? Well, I have some other ideas I'd like to run by you as well.
You see, the other day, I was perusing MIT's top 35 superstar science graduates and ran across a gentleman named Ryan Bailey who has done some rather brilliant work with nano-particles used internally to help medical equipment see what's going on inside. The strategies are brilliant, but the applications are unbelievably amazing. How amazing?
Well, I asked myself the same question and came up with some new questions of my own. The first of many is actually the title of this article; "Why Can't We Charge Up Human Cells with Energy Bypassing the Organic Process?"
Now then, it's not my desire to fully explore the whole Scientology Theory or religion, rather, just borrow a few of L. Ron Hubbard's Science Fiction ideas and couple them with the cordless charging technology of for personal tech devices - then use vibrational frequencies to super charge the human cells at various levels and frequencies for optimal performance.
What if we used such a scheme to power up humans at a space colony? They would require far less food, although you'd still have to give them nutrients and be very careful not to over boost them with frequency bombardment melting the nerve endings for instance.
Yes, this idea is still on the back burner. It's just a potential future concept, which may or may not ever be feasible. Still, in theory, it should be possible right? Therefore we must quince this curiosity and fun research to see. We could experiment on cell tissue, mice, or 3-D scaffold printed tissue to try it out. If things worked we could progress the experiments from there.
Is this a potential component that would allow long-term space flight or space colonies to survive with drastically reduced food supplies? It may very well be, we don't know, but I speculate the answer is yes. Please consider all this and think on it.

How Cells Divide: The Life Cycle of Eukariotic Cells


As defined and explained elsewhere, nucleoid and nucleus are different.
A nucleoid is just a place in the cytoplasm without ribosomes, where dwells a single circular naked DNA molecule containing most, if not all in some case, of the genetic information needed for whole cell life.
Nucleus is different, well-known and well described in many biological books.
Here we have a choice. Talking about the genetic material of the cells we may say that only eukaryotic ones have chromosomes as just described and the prokaryotic types have circular naked DNA molecules, or we may say that prokaryotic chromosomes are different from the ones found in eukaryotes and describe both correctly. Once again scientists tried to find chromosomes in every cell!
Let us go back to the nucleus. It has linear chromosomes, not just one, not just DNA. Most of the eukaryotic cells are born with just one nucleus and therefore cannot divide early in their lives. When they go through DNA synthesis in the S phase of the life cycle, the DNA quantity doubles within every chromosome so that in the phase G2 we still have one nucleus, only about 2 times bigger than the one in G1 phase. No cell division can occur in G2 if the goal is to give birth to 2 fully functioning organisms. Two nuclei are needed before cell division.
The recent eukaryotic cells have a problem the older prokaryotic types did not have: how to duplicate the nucleus? Life being creative they searched and found thetwo parallel solutionsmitosis and meiosis to choose from, according to the end results desired.
For the newly evolved larger cells the life cycle has 5 main phases:
1. The first growth phase called G1 is characterized by a single genetic center, here the nucleus.
2. The phase S where there is DNA synthesis, doubling the amount of DNA inherited at birth.
3. The second-growth phase, G2, is the one where there are two non separate DNA molecules in each chromosome in the nucleus that prepare to duplicate into two smaller new ones within the cell.
4. The fourth life cycle stage of the eukaryotic cell is the nucleus duplication phase which can be mitosis or meiosis at choice. Either one has 4 well-known sub-phases that are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. At the end of nucleus duplication the cell will have two nuclei and can now divide and be able to give the same amount of genetic information to both its daughters.
5. The cell division phase allows to produce two new smaller cellular organisms, each with its own nucleus.
Eukaryotes did not invent a new way of producing news cells from one. They just use the same process created by prokaryotes: real cell division or cytoplasm division. What they did differently is find a way to duplicate the nucleus.
Primitive cells invented cell duplication and more recent ones created mitosis and meiosis as ways to nucleus duplication that must occur in them before cell duplication.
Most well written and well-known biological books describe mitosis and meiosis as cell division process and yet this is not true. One of the reasons it is not true is because it is well-known that some cells go mitosis, get two or more nuclei they need for their functioning, without dividing. Also, there is no reason prokaryotes duplicate themselves without mitosis or meiosis and only eukaryotic cells need both process to duplicate themselves. The reason mitosis and meiosis occur in more recent cells and not in primitive ones is that both processes deal with something only eukaryote have: the nucleus.

About Adult Stem Cells


The adult stem cells are throughout the human body and they are undifferentiated cells. They will normally duplicate as a way of making it possible to replenish or replace body cells which are dying and also regenerate body tissues which are damaged or aged. This makes the adult stem cells very important in a human body; it can't basically function properly without the somatic cells.
These cells are also commonly referred to as somatic vegetative cell and are found both in adults and children. The cells are made in the bone marrow and released from there to the rest of the body where they circulate waiting to be put to use as far as regeneration or repairing of the body organs and tissues is concerned. They however have a lifespan and there reaches a time when they reduce greatly in number and in function around the body.

Do Mushrooms Fall Under Vegetarian Category or Non-Vegetarian?


I started doing a bit of research about this in Gita, The Holy Book of Hindus. According to Krishna or Krishna consciousness, if you will, don't indulge in over/under eating.
The gist of my research is, food is divided in to 3 types. Now it is up to us to decide where each food falls.
1. Goodness: Milk, honey, vegetables, rice, lentils etc. If you ask me, eggs are also vegetarian. They are not fertilized by sperm. By definition, you are not causing pain to the egg when you make an omelet (just like you don't cause pain to carrots when you dig them out of soil). In my definition, egg falls into Goodness category.
Counter argument is that we need to classify food based on cell-structure not where it comes from.
2. Passion: Anything which is hot (chili-hot) and spicy falls into this category. From what I understand, there is no clear definition of which foods fall under this category.
3. Ignorance: Meat and meat products fall under this category. 
(According to Gita). It always surprised me that we give so much importance to religion, peace etc, yet Gita itself is a justification of why war is essential at times. Of course I fully believe that it is the Holiest of texts till date, yet the irony is not lost.

Argument one: Recently mushroom farmers have started using fish emulsion spray derived from fishes for faster growth. 
So a fertilizer, which is not pure vegetarian is being used on a vegetarian item. That is the reason why some vegetarians are not clear whether to eat mushrooms.

Argument 2: Every single second we kill millions of bacteria and other microscopic creatures by inhaling air. So its all about what definitions people give to justify their eating habits.
Another thing is, how many of us realize that it's not about meat or non-meat products but its about not killing animals for our wants/needs? For the same reason even leather cloths should also be a strict No for a practicing vegetarian. Can we live without eating meat? Yes. But do I propagate that eating vegetarian food is the way to go? No. I am not against eating meat and I don't try to persuade those who do to consider my perspective.
There lies a major gray area in clearly defining where mushrooms fall. The same goes for defining many products.
